OUR SALVATION, COMFORT, AND UNFAILING LOVE

Isaiah 12:2 - "Behold God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song."

This extremely beautiful and jewel like Psalm  gives HOPE some great preparation for the day when the Jew and Gentile gathered into ONE CHURCH, and they shall stand on the shores of Eternity with Psalms of victory. Here is a song of Moses and the Lamb. To us Christians we are called to one "ECHAD" or to a "ONE CHURCH" in Christ rules and leads us on this age of dispensation.

The originality of "God's Salvation" is typified and associated with the Feast of Tabernacles. The Feast of Tabernacle was a type of celebration to symbolize God's purpose and provisions, which shall take place when His Tabernacle is with men and God shall dwell with them (Revelation 21:3). We must be of good courage because God is with us, as our Strength, Song, and Salvation. God shares our wilderness march, we are folded under the shadow of His mighty tent, and we are permitted to look to Him as our Partner, Companion, and Comforter. Notice the emphasis on the Word "MY" Strength and "MY" Song indicates a strong emphasis on possessions and ownership. Anyone of us or event the weakest in us can claim all needed supplies from God, and God will always admit this plea of Love saying" "Child, thou art ever with Me, and all that I have is thine" (Luke 15:31).

The Unfailing supplies of God --"The wells of salvation" (Isaiah 12:3): On the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles the priests drew water in a golden pitcher from the Pool of Siloam, and poured it forth in the Temple, while the Choir chanted this verse in memory of the rock-water that followed the desert march. Every attribute of God, every means of grace, every helpful and loving ministry, every promise of Scripture is a "WELL" symbolically, and "FAITH" is our pitcher (John 7:37). However, we must draw first from the Well of Salvation. Faith is the bucket, which we let down into the fulness of the Divine supply of God. It is not simply the general belief that God hears and answers prayer, but the specific and particular belief that God has answered or will answer our prayer for some special needed grace, and that it is ours.We must Believe that we have received and then draw water out of the well of God's riches and Salvation!

"'Thou comfortest me" (Isaiah 12:1): There is no such Comforter as God. "As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you."  God  is expressly described as "the God of all Comfort." Is it not too much to ask God that  He stoops out of His high and mighty throne to comfort anyone who is seeking, anyone whose heart is heavy with grief and whose eyes are red with weeping? He wipes the tears from all our eyes, dries and staunches the very fountains of grief. Please don't be dismay of weeping as "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning," yet I shall  praise the Lord forever.

Lord make us understand the riches of the Glory of your inheritance, and the abundance greatness of Your Power toward us who believe so we would so live that sweet music that comes from Thee alone.

AMEN.
